McMaster Continuing Education is positioned in the heart of downtown Hamilton, at King & James.
Our building is a hub of community activities with rooms available for events, meetings and, of course, classes.
We're proud of our partnerships with the City of Hamilton, Hamilton Public Library, The Socrates Project and other McMaster departments to produce speakers series and events which contribute to a deeper understanding of individuals' roles as citizens in Hamilton, Canada and the world.
McMaster Continuing Education is also involved in the downtown Hamilton community through
our participation in SuperCrawl and Soul Saturday? festivals.
"Community engagement at McMaster University is defined as valuing the expert knowledge and passion that members of the community (both local and global) have about their communities and issues affecting them; fostering ongoing collaboration between University and community partners on how to better understand and consider the issues identified as priorities by local and global communities; and performing research, teaching and service with community members and partners for the public good within the local or global community."
